Production Line Electrical Retrofit

Overview — A full electrical retrofit of an active manufacturing line, executed without stopping the client's production schedule.

Challenge — Ageing wiring was creating recurring trip faults, but the client could not afford a full production shutdown for the retrofit.

Solution — SHILTECH phased the retrofit across scheduled maintenance windows, re-routing circuits line-by-line and testing each section before re-energising.

Outcome — Zero unplanned downtime during the retrofit and a measurable drop in fault-related stoppages after completion.
